Unbelievable.
Broken Craftsman extractor bit by one of the many stripped screws on my bike. I'm all ears for any ideas on how to get this thing out. Below are some close-ups of the offending screw.
I soaked the thing with liquid wrench overnight about 3-4 times. Tried tapping it with a screw driver and hammer to "break" it loose. Made sure the low torque extraction was done dipping the bit at a slight angle to help bite. But alas... I heard a snap and sure enough, busted bit.
Someone broke into my car. They smashed the front left side window. I think they were looking for the Smart Tag. I tooked it in so all they got was the Smart Tag holder they dug out of the windshield.
old broken rusty locomotive still on rails
- the previous version of the picture appeared too dark on many screens, so I have re-apploaded brighter one
Today we noticed that one of Rose's shoes, which are supposed to light up when she takes a step, was flashing continuously. This is somewhat annoying, and probably means that the shoe will use up its batteries in short order and be non-functional, but I thought it presented an interesting opportunity to do some long exposures.
This is a 15 second exposure at f2.5. Some of the light is coming from the LEDs themselves, but some is reflected diffuse lighting coming from a flashlight I'm shining against a nearby wall.
Broken Femur. The morning after breaking my femur, I was amazingly up on a walker and getting around (a little anyway). Now I have a titanium rod that runs the length of my thigh. The rod is screwed in at the top and bottom. The rod is inserted into the center of the bone where the marrow is and then hammered all the way in down to the knee.
In November I took and uploaded two pictures of a building decorated with pieces of broken crockery. This is a close up.

It's hard to see in these pics (as I'm a crappy photographer) but all the dolls in the picture are damaged, but can be restored. The clothing and footwear cannot. They are all ripped or bitten to death. The silver outfit has so many pulls it looks nasty.
