The Roll of Honour fell from its mounting, and the frame was broken. There's a metaphor in there somewhere, I fancy ...
Things just fell apart as I attempted to put my blinds back up after I had new windows installed. I am so inept at this kind of home maintenance...sigh!
I have broken both of my heels, one worse than the other. I am confined to a wheelchair, and I take a shower thusly.
These are just 600mg Ibuprofens. I was prescribed them because I get really bad headaches. I spilled them all over the floor, and I decided to set it up to look like a broken heart. I love the shadows. :]

Had a beautiful weekend in M. with my two best friends M en H.
After a long walk through the quiet but interesting city we faced this scene of things gone bad...
I found a discarded broken wine glass in the front yard amongst last years autumn leaves. I wasn't my glass! Before throwing it out I couldn't resist the opportunity to get the tripod out.
It is an odd phenomena that out of focus photographs can be interesting. While it is often insisted that photographs be pin sharp, there are several groups here on flickr devoted to photos deliberately taken without be focused on the intended subject. A popular subject of out of focus photos is the circle of confusion that results from out of focus light sources.
Here, a low mounted walkway light, illuminating the surrounding snow, is de-focused into a "circle of confusion". This bokeh is only broken be the grid of the window screen through which the photo was taken.
This unique little house stands facing north making it tough to get a good shot (guess I will have to wait for summer for better lighting).
Broken - Still fighting.
I was inspired to do this after seeing an entry to this following competition.

Just for fun.
That's the garden floor of a severely vandalized mansion. Sad stories make nice art.
