I didn't take this one of her, but I love it all the same...photoshopped a little by me. This is the quintessential Emma photo.

My baby needs our prayers tonight. He's been coughing a lot lately so he went to the vet yesterday. I got a phone call tonight and the vet thinks he may have a cancerous tumor somewhere and that it has spread to his lungs. I hate to think the worst but this has been a really crappy year for me and I don't want to lose my best friend of the last 6 years.

My brother lost his dog Louie a few weeks ago...I posted a picture of him. I don't know if I neglected to mention that he ran off with a friend. We still have yet to find her...she's micro chipped and we are hoping for the best still...but we don't know what to think. It's terrible that we rescued her from the abuse situation she was in and nursed her back to health just to have no say in what happens to her now, you know?

The lyrics [if you even noticed them, view large to make sense of things] above are from Alicia Keys Song "Goodbye" Morbid, I know, but it was stuck in my head [ironically] the day they found Louie hit and the day after...And does somewhat describe how it's hard to just leave have to just accept the fact that we've done all we can to find her and now we just have to leave it up to time.

"How do you find the words

To say goodbye?

When your heart don't have the heart

to say...To say goodbye

Is this the end? are you sure?

How should you know when you've never been here before?

It's so hard... to just let go

When this is the one and only love I've ever known."

not as vicious as it looks, i swear. just very toothy.

Brady was bitten by a Newfoundland at doggy day care. The bites got infected so he had to go to the emergency vet ($$) and be put under to have the wounds thoroughly cleaned and for this drainage tube to be put in place. He had to walk around with bloody puss leaking out for 2 weeks. But after lots of worrying and lots of money, he is back to normal (plus a lot of scarring).

i don't care, leave me alone.

A few candid shots taken at a Christmas party that the dogs and I were invited to. All the extra money raised will be donated to our local home dog park.
