Her bark might be bad, but my bites bigger! :)

Kahn waits to pounce on Etta (from the new topsoil area that's ready for us to lay turf)

brindle hair (dog;)

Oil Pastel and watercolor.. I hope you're all not getting bored with these dog portraits, but I'm having fun experimenting, and there is too much snow to go paint outside.

Posing nicely for me.

The grass needs cutting.

Thanks to Dave for his email as I had to rush back to get this!

My sisters two great danes...

Supposedly she's a brindle pomeranian, 10 lbs.

She looks like a Japanese Raccoon dog, a tanuki, plus she stands and can walk a bit on her hind legs.

She was a rescued dog, my friend's daughter who got into a bad situation. The lady who was keeping her for her, was letting the little dog roam the streets and the dog got hit by a car & dragged. The owner begged me to take her. I was pretty worried, we have two 70-lb dogs, they were wild to get the toy. Now, she is the queen bee and traffic coordinator, herds the big dogs, and attempts to enforce many potty breaks.

Ready for convoy for kids in Wollongong

Girl's got style. On more than one occasion I've seen this little rocking things like backwards jeans with a tutu leotard, ruffle tank top and an upside down sweater. All color coordinated. It's not that she doesn't know how to dress herself, but that it's completely intentional. She's got some major style guts- and she's only three. Just watch, she's going to be designing your wardrobe in the future.

Caleb knows he's hot stuff.

09/05/18 - Back Garden Mothing

8 new for year species was very pleasing indeed on Wednesday night after a fairly warm day with late cloud towards the evening, the temperature held up nicely.

It was great to see arguably one of the most striking of moths, the Herald. A moth that over-winters in caves, barns and outbuildings.

Four Oak-tree Pugs were like buses and unfortunately the first Red Twin-spot Carpet of the year was found dead in the trap which is unusual.

A Parornix species will be checked at a later date.

Here is last Wednesday's new for year species.
