Joe Jerry is a guy who dresses up like Superman and tries to get people to sign his petition for LEGO to start a line of Superman LEGO sets. You can follow his story line as well as read lots of other LEGO-built webcomics at The Brick Side website.

The copal shutter is almost silent but this group of people turned their head around after I released it.

I can't recally the significance at the moment. I'm pretty sure it was significant, though. Schoolhouse, perhaps? It was on the historic National Road, in eastern Ohio.

I took my Nikon for a walk down to Village Gate. I was completely disappointed by the lack of inspiration I got there. These bricks and vines caught my eye on the walk home. I love the unusual contrast between the red mortar and the grey bricks. I don't think I've ever seen a building with the colors switched like this.

Brick Lane London

i collect bricks

lots and lots of bricks

there's an old brick factory three miles from home

i ride to it and carry them back, one brick per camelbak trip

one morning i found my name had been created in those collected bricks

Paramore. :)

I'm finally adding a new image to that series thingy. it's my interp. of "Brick by Boring Brick" by the lovely Paramore. I'm using a teddy bear, because, for some reason, we have no baby dolls. Anyways, it's like the little girl in the video, how at the end she was all mad and hating her fantasies, and that's "her" throwing the doll, a symbol of her fantasies, on the ground in anger, like throwing them away.

And yes, I've built up a world of magic, and I'm never throwing it away.

SOOC

I'm going Lazer tagging in less than two hours. So excited.

Someone totally awesome should write me a testimonial. :) *hint, hint, poke, poke*

bricks uncovered. It seems when a building or a house is uninhabited that it falls apart rather quickly. The life is taken out of it and it seems to have no purpose so it gives up. There are photos of abandoned buildings online that are not very old, that have not been abandoned very long, yet they look as if they have been that way forever.

I loved the colors and textures in the setting sunlight.
