The weather was already looking ominous over Calvert Island

On the first day of the Biblical Worldview Summit we had a literal ICE BREAKER. Tshirts frozen in ice which had to be worn my a member of the team, first person to have it on their team won.

We had another uneventful crossing of Hakai Passage and stopped by a lovely clam shell beach in the Breaker Group for a snack

Far less known than the other breaker, this was an untouched time capsule of the PA anthracite period.

Huge.

The historic Breakers Inn sits just above the productive rocky section of ocean called "The Graveyard".

The incoming tide battled a wild westerly that sought Canute-like to throw it back. Onwards it came, wave after wave, its frustration turning to fury as it fought to reclaim the shore. From my exhibition in Dublin City Library & Archive, Pearse Street, Dublin from 2nd to 26th Feb 2011.
