The Breakers is a mansion in Newport, Rhode Island. It was designed by architect Richard Morris hunt and built in 1893 for Cornelius Vanderbilt II as a "summer cottage."

it was so bright out that it was hard to believe that it was so foggy at 4 in the afternoon. my hair got wet, what with being in a cloud on the breakers. rumor has it, there's a lighthouse just past the end.
