A Black Walnut branch fills this mosaic with beauty and subtle color. The shining sun beams through the nine leaves on the branch.
The original image was captured with my iPhone 11 in my right hand, while my left hand held the branch up against the sun.
This collage was created in picmonkey.com using my one original image and replicated six times here.
Beauty is everywhere. Reach out and capture it!

A Great Blue Heron delivers another stick to the nest!
There are at least a dozen active heron nests at the GB heron rookery, and I counted 16 herons perched on or near their nests.
One of my artworks for the exhibition TIME WARPS at Kondor Art Garden.
Thanks to my partner Eli Medier for his poem:
"The line is divided by a point
A plane from a line
The three-space from a plane
A four-space from a three-space
There are infinities greater than infinity
Yet something we have left out
How can it be N = Z?
Why are three and four-space sometimes more difficult?
I feel there is something wrong
Reality is full of walls and prohibitions
But then how can God exist?
If everything changes one remains where he is
I have to get out of here
I will pass beyond the infinities"

Taken at Foul Whisperings Strange Matters
The first one out of the nest and branching. This nesting tree is the coolest. Not only are the nest holes unique, but the entire tree has also so much character.

Two of Tiny's babes in the shade of the big old maple tree. I put the seed in this hollowed-out branch and they love to sit and eat.
The waterfall there drops about 24 feet, and then the stream makes an immediate 90 degree turn. With a little bit of climbing you can get down on a ledge there next to the waterfall giving you this view as it turns heading off into Falling Branch Creek.
The Reeds Branch of Norfolk Southern led by a trio of Union Pacific locos pops out of a tree tunnel headed from nearby Cosgrove Yard.
There was something about the shape of this branch that caught my eye, I like the downward symmetrical curve, almost reminiscent of a tightrope walkers pole! Taken on a chilly misty morning in Hillock Wood, Buckinghamsire.

It was just a very ordinary walk in the same Helsinki suburb surroundings, still with patches of ice here and there, but sun already was shining warmer and friendlier than a couple of weeks ago. And then behind a turn of the path opened a view over a little bay, and sunlight fell on the tops of last year dropworts in so marvelous angle that all the scene was flooded with light... I deliberately let the flare come into the photo, because it reveals the feeling from that moment like fairies would be dancing in the branches and chasing the winter away. :-)
