I caught some of the stock trying to escape today; that fucking idiot slave is useless - I swear since the trepanning experiment she's become less able to understand and carry out my orders. She also grows more forgetful with each treatment.

Note - I need to refine my technique or discover a new method, as the current procedure produces the desired results but with the unwanted side effect of loss of brain function.

There is increasing evidence in rehabilitation medicine and the field of neuroscience that art enhances brain function by impacting brain wave patterns, emotions, and the nervous system. Art can also raise serotonin levels. These benefits don't just come from making art, they also occur by experiencing art.

From the session: "The Neuroscience of Art:

What are the Sources of Creativity and Innovation?" (February 21 to 26, 2015)

---

In recent years, there have been an increasing number of scientific investigations into art, exploring what actually happens in the brain during the creative process. Most of these collaborations have been based in neuroscience and psychological approaches to how art is perceived, produced and created, with music the main focus of studies carried out to date. These studies have yielded important new information that relates to a very basic fact of human biology: all behavior, even that as complex as creativity, can be linked to brain function. Building on this fundamental linkage, the neurobiology of art promises to yield exciting new insights as this research field evolves. Creative behavioral patterns are likely to be a critical component for developing the neurological capacity for innovation.

This Salzburg Global program represents a pioneering step to establish a neutral international forum to discuss state-of-the-art findings from a cross-disciplinary perspective, prioritize future research, and expand creative opportunities for learning, innovation and collaboration. While much research is taking place in various national and regional settings, more global dialogue is needed between specialist silos in order to catalyze knowledge exchange around the results, implications and potential practical applications of new cutting-edge research.

What Vitamin B12 does for the body is keep the human body's nervous system and blood cells functioning health and efficiently. It supports healthy brain function and fuels the metabolism. It also supports the digestive system so that the body can absorb food efficiently to be later converted into energy. When taking a Vitamin B12 supplement it is important that your body absorbs the maximum nutrients possible. Finding the best B12 supplement for maximum absorption and sustained energy should be a number one priority. B12 supplements come in liquid, powder and tablet form. The answer to the best form can found by first understanding how B12 helps your body convert food into energy - B12 Liquid.

More than 250 participated in the first annual Superintendent’s Fitness Challenge 5K Fun Run on May 5, 2012. Superintendent of Public Instruction Larry K. Shumway has challenged the educational community to get fit this school year. It’s an effort to encourage educators to embrace fitness as a way to improve brain function and overall health and to provide a good example for Utah’s youth.

Genbrain What we put in our bodies has long-term effects and benefits. This is a well-known brain enhancer, but is often neglected. Omega 3 fatty acids are critical for brain health. The lack of these fats can cause problems such as low IQ, depression and other important brain functions. This can help you understand that these fats not only improve brain health, but also effectively prevent poor brain health. The best natural source of omega-3 fatty acids is fish. However, if for some reason fish is not your thing, you can consider alternatives such as taking fish oil or krill tablets. There are two ways in which herbal teas can have a beneficial effect on the brain. It is known that aromatic teas, such as mint and rosemary, increase energy for medicinal purposes and as a result of exposure to aromatic stimulants. Ginkgo and ginseng are known for their more direct effects on maintaining good brain health.

Why We Need Sleep

If you have ever felt foggy after a poor night’s sleep, it won’t surprise you that sleep significantly impacts brain function. First, a healthy amount of sleep is vital for “brain plasticity,” or the brain’s ability to adapt to input. If we sleep too little, we become unable to process what we’ve learned during the day and we have more trouble remembering it in the future. Researchers also believe that sleep may promote the removal of waste products from brain cells—something that seems to occur less efficiently when the brain is awake.Tips for Better Sleep

Good sleep habits (sometimes referred to as “sleep hygiene”) can help you get a good night’s sleep.

Some habits that can improve your sleep health:

-Be consistent. Go to bed at the same time each night and get up at the same time each morning, including on the weekends

-Make sure your bedroom is quiet, dark, relaxing, and at a comfortable temperature

-Remove electronic devices, such as TVs, computers, and smart phones, from the bedroom

-Avoid large meals, caffeine, and alcohol before bedtime

-Get some exercise. Being physically active during the day can help you fall asleep more easily at night.

Sleep is vital to the rest of the body too. When people don’t get enough sleep, their health risks rise. Symptoms of depression, seizures, high blood pressure and migraines worsen. Immunity is compromised, increasing the likelihood of illness and infection. Sleep also plays a role in metabolism: Even one night of missed sleep can create a prediabetic state in an otherwise healthy person.

Two views of a composite reconstruction of the earliest known Homo sapiens fossils from Jebel Irhoud in Morocco, based on micro computed tomographic scans of multiple original fossils, are shown in this undated handout photo obtained by Reuters June 7, 2017. Dated to 300 thousand years ago these early Homo sapiens already have a modern-looking face that falls within the variation of humans living today. However, the archaic-looking virtual imprint of the braincase (blue) indicates that brain shape, and possibly brain function, evolved within the Homo sapiens lineage. Brain Cancer Diagnostics Market Overview:

Brain cancer is essentially a disease where the cancer cells grow at an abnormal rate to form a mass of cancer tissue that obstructs brain functions like sensation, memory, muscle control, etc. Brain Cancer is categorised as grade I, grade II, grad III and grad IV. In grade I, the tissue developed is harmless or benign and it looks identical to the normal brain cells but with a slower growth. In grade II, the developed tissue is malignant or cancerous, but it looks like normal brain cells just like grade I. In grade III and IV, the developed tissues are in an abnormal state and their growth rate is more as compared to grade I or grade II. MRI scans, PET scan, CT scans are conducted in order to understand the cell damage levels which can help them in diagnosing the patient in the future. With the rising number of cigarette consumers has increased the number of patients diagnosed with brain cancer, thus asssiting in the augmentation of the market.

Ten USAMRICD personnel visited the center to teach children about four senses: touch, sight, hearing and smell with hands-on activities. The children also learned about personal protective equipment.

“Our five senses connect us to the world around us and all senses connect to our brain,” Hoard-Fruchey said. “At USAMRICD, we have many neuroscientists and we are keenly aware of how import brain function is for quality of life. These activities are meant to get very young children excited about science and thinking about our five senses in relation to both our brain power and our interactions with daily life.”

This is a drawing that I was not able to finish, but think it still looks good .
