Straight from Reggio Calabria, (not the mixer,) comes this bread. It's made from semolina and white wheat flour and lasts for a day or two before drying out and becoming a giant bread stick. It's good that way too.
This is an up close picture of a braided round challah. By wife decided to try a three-braid and then wrap it into the normal circle you see here. She did a fabulous job as usual.
