A few days ago we took an epic helicopter trip through the Southern Alps of New Zealand. Here's a view of the braided river delta from the glaciers feeding into Lake Wakatipu.
I made a braid yay! :P I'm growing my hair out and it's been a bit of pain in the ass. Although it is going well and I'm not obsessed about it anymore.. so that makes it a lot better already ;)
But yeah did a braid woohoo! My hair is very thin at the sides though and ugh short layers. It's also allergic to hairspray so what did I do? Put tons of hairspray on it and now it looks nasty and frizzy as hell ;D I DO LOVE YOU HAIR REALLY I PROMISE!

This is the back of my head after getting my hair braided. I have alot of hair, it took 118 braids. The woman who did my hair was awesome She was originally from Trinidad, and she'd been braiding since she was 5.

Ma vieille ceinture en cuir présente encore ses tresses intactes mais si elle a pris de l'âge, tout comme moi. Je ne peux malheureusement plus l'utiliser car de trop petite taille. #Macro #MacroMondays #Leather

Rakaia River, Canterbury, New Zealand.
Classic braided river.
The water really is a striking blue - I think its from old glacial dust carried in the flow. Or am I making up stories? ....hmmmm.
f5.7; 1/400; ISO 80.
Some work with levels and curves (original image was very faint).
Another not-great image but it fits my river story. And I love seeing this river from the air.
