FarmPhilly - growing vertically

Modular trough system.

Vertigrow boxes are modular and come in three varying sizes and depths for a variety of growing options from carrots and egg plant to basil, tomatoes and small

herbs. The boxes are a rotomolded plastic and the brackets are a decorative brushed stainless steel die cut fleur-de-lis pattern. The brackets have holes for screws or the center can be pushed back and laid between the mortar of new construction. Each box can stand alone or in a continual trough.

Some sort of a bracket fungus, also known as shelf fungus or polypore, along the Kentville Ravine

First time visiting Maidstone's Mote Park. This bracket was one of many on a fallen willow tree. The new growth was bright orange, and the underside pure white.

Update: think it might be a red-belted bracket (Fomitopsis pinicola )

Believed to be the scarce Red-belted Bracket (Fomitopes pinicola) seen in Nostell Park, West Yorkshire

Bracket fungi growing on a tree trunk in Glapthorn Cow Pastures. I think this is a type of polypore but not sure which one.

Identification suggestions welcome! Just leave a comment. | Savegre Hotel, San Gerardo de Dota, San José province, Costa Rica | July 10, 2017.

Only the bracket dont get excited. A Really Right Stuff (RRS) L bracket that connects a camera to a arca swiss type mount ball head. All i need now is said ball head and i have my dream tripod setup. Must start saving for it, by the way 'it' is a Markins q3t quick lever.

Two 5 inch "T" brackets bolted together and two corner braces bolted to one end. Cost less than $10 to make. :)

Two brass thread adapters (1/4 to 3/8 adapter 015 included with 5001B stands) used to secure the CTR-301P triggers to the corner braces.

The double female mounting spigot (119 included with lite-tite) was used to secure the bracket with a third 015 thread adapter.

If I am using CLS then I screw two Bogen 143S Magic Arm Flash Shoes onto the corner braces instead of the CTR-301P triggers.

A large bracket fungus growing from an old birch tree stump.

I'm no expert on fungi but apparently this is Birch Bracket, also known as "Razor Strop", and it is absolutely not a mushroom...

Seventeen gathered to celebrate Rob Woodall's 6,000th non pillar flush bracket of FB S6848 which is on the wall of the Sun Inn, Haggate, Burnley. I had one piece of Judith's lovely cake. Then popped into the Sun for a half pint of Wainwright. Then a lovely turkey lunch in the Hare and Hounds washed down with a half of Black Sheep.

Rob has already celebrated bagging 6,000 pillar flush brackets.

InfraNet is pleased to announce a new publication venture in collaboration with Archinect, and with support from the Graham Foundation.

bracket

www.brkt.org

[bracket] is an annual publication documenting issues overlooked yet central to our cultural milieu that have evolved out of the new disciplinary territory at the intersection of architecture, landscape, urbanism and, now, the internet. It is no coincidence that the professional term architect can also now refer to information architects, and that the word community can also now refer to an online community. [bracket] is a publishing platform for ideas charting the complex overlap of the sphere of architecture and online social spheres.

Seeking new voices and talent, [bracket] is structured around an open call for entries. The series will look at thematics in our age of globalization that are shaping the built environment in radically significant and yet unexpected ways.

The first issue is titled On Farming is to be released in Fall 2009.

Please see the website for a description of the call for entries, schedule, and how to be part of future mailings.

And please pass this on to anyone you believe could be interested to participate or submit ideas, designs, or texts.

Thank you,

"This is a Camera." Informational Stickers.

Best to keep informed of where you're being watched.

well last nite I went to get the alternator installed and found out the pulley was sitting back to far to line up with the belt. The parts house assured me that it was the right alternator. but the pulley might somehow be different. they had a note on the screen that said i might have to use the old pulley off of the old alternator. Well gee wiz. it would have been nice of them to tell me that when they sold the darn thing to me. My lower bracket isn't adjustable but guess what they could sell me one. :( or might be able to get a different alternator but it would be an internal regulated one. well I didn't want that cause I would have to rewire everything. Well back to the drawing board. Thru trial and error I decided to make another bracket and then weld a couple of bolts on it a little farther forward and then mount the original bracket.
