A 'Birch bracket' fungus (Piptoporus betulinus), also known as 'Birch polypore' or 'razor strop' on a birch tree (Betula).
In Dutch it's called 'berkenzwam' which means 'birch mushroom (or fungus)'.

Taken at Danes Moss Wildlife Reserve, this, I think, is a Bracket Fungus growing on a Birch Tree. Still one or two Dragonflys around as well, even this late in the season

The outline of the alternator bracket is drawn by connecting the spacer outlines. The bottom is arched to clear the alternator body.

Modular trough system.
Vertigrow boxes are modular and come in three varying sizes and depths for a variety of growing options from carrots and egg plant to basil, tomatoes and small
herbs. The boxes are a rotomolded plastic and the brackets are a decorative brushed stainless steel die cut fleur-de-lis pattern. The brackets have holes for screws or the center can be pushed back and laid between the mortar of new construction. Each box can stand alone or in a continual trough.
Ageing Bracket Fungus on the side of an old tree sculpture in a lay-by just outside Tideswell, Derbyshire. Taken using my little Canon Powershot A550 on its Macro setting.
First time visiting Maidstone's Mote Park. This bracket was one of many on a fallen willow tree. The new growth was bright orange, and the underside pure white.
Update: think it might be a red-belted bracket (Fomitopsis pinicola )

Bracket fungi growing on a tree trunk in Glapthorn Cow Pastures. I think this is a type of polypore but not sure which one.
