Here's my bracket for the tourney. I picked these teams by an algorithm I came up that weighted each team by a network centrality measurement. Essentially, teams form links with other teams depending on whether they win or lose. I gathered all the data pretty easily off of NCAA's own site: stats.ncaa.org/team/inst_team_list/10260?division=1
The algorithm is a simple measure of their "win" centrality over their "lose" centrality. According to the resulting scores:
Kansas should win it all easily (they have a 50% higher score than the next closest team).
Virginia Tech was the best team not to make it in. They were ranked 23rd in the nation by my algorithm.
Arkansas Pine Bluff was by far the worst to make it in. They would be ranked 288th out of 347 D1 schools.
The toughest region is the West. The weakest is the South.
The closest game should be Maryland vs Michigan St. (assuming they advance). These teams have very close scores.
Here's my top 25 ranking:
1 "Kansas"
2 "Kentucky"
3 "Syracuse"
4 "West Virginia"
5 "Duke"
6 "Kansas St."
7 "Purdue"
8 "Villanova"
9 "Temple"
10 "Butler"
11 "Baylor"
12 "Ohio St."
13 "Georgetown"
14 "Texas A&M"
15 "Texas"
16 "New Mexico"
17 "BYU"
18 "Xavier"
19 "Pittsburgh"
20 "Maryland"
21 "Michigan St."
22 "Wisconsin"
23 "Virginia Tech"
24 "Oklahoma St."
25 "Florida St."
I'll check back after the tourney to see how I did.
This setup outputs about 200 watt-seconds of light. Easier and less expensive to use one Quantum T5d-r. But, if you already have Speedlights, this setup pushed lots more light through light modifiers.
After the rain, a fresh crop of fungi is starting to appear in our wood. These oak brackets are now huge - they remind me of the mineral pools at Pamukkale in Turkey.

Finally got around to replacing the passenger side exhaust hanger. Previously the hanger was on the passenger tail pipe and would vibrate loudly when on the brakes. The angle and curvature of the pipe made fitting it take awhile. I Didn't have an extra large machine screw so I had to improvise with a machine alen bolt, which works very well.
Beautiful wooden architecture. The stage alone, with its heavy wooden pillars, and certain other elements, is meant to evoke the idea of being in a forest, coming across a clearing, and witnessing spirits or gods dancing. Most Noh theatres I've been to are very brightly lit, and are very modern spaces in the style of the chairs and walls and such. The dark wood, the everpresent wood throughout the design of the room/building, really helps further evoke that idea of the forest.
