Dead tree with Bracket fungi or shelf fungi and Spanish "moss". Spanish moss is not a moss but is a flowering plant (angiosperm) in the family Bromeliaceae (the bromeliads).
A Sunday afternoon visit to the Experimental Farm in Ottawa, ON. My first attempt at bracket photography... I'm not sure this is what the manual meant though...
Headlight bracket was cut from ubracket and then re-welded to u bracket one inch lower. Clip which held fairing was also removed. Bracket was then powder coated gloss black.
Look at the state of that! It looks like it has plastic cups on both sides, and either someone's been trying to drill it off, or it's been stored really badly. I really hope there's something left for a tool to slot into once the crank arms come off.
This is the housing with a bracket, ball bearings and mounting plate for the fan. Clearance between the blades and housing is tight so the bracket had to be perfectly aligned and centered.
