Interesting brick wall bracket (architectural term, anyone?) found on a building in Pioneer Square, Seattle
Not the massive display of fungi that we saw emerging after the rain, but this bracket was a bright spot of colour at the base of a tree.

I just installed the tecalamit nut (it was removed prior to restoration) so can confirm that it moves freely and the threads are clean. Shimano bottom bracket (runs freely - did not remove because I didn't want to run the risk of clunking the paintwork with the spanner!)
