This fabric box was constructed for me by quilter Jan Zietlow, in Boulder, Montana,
from fabrics I chose. I like that it's "a different kind of box." Each side of the triangular
top measures 5.5 inches and the box stands 3.75 inches tall closed.

This box has been in my family for over 100 years. It is said to have been looted from the Emperor's summer palace during the Boxer Rebellion.
The size is 280 x 120 x 90 mm
I don't know how much credence to give to that story, but it is beautifully and intricately carved. It's condition is only fair, with some shrinkage and splitting of the wood and some minor damage to the carvings in places.
More information from someone knowledgeable would be welcome.
Here's the inside of my DIY light box, zoomed out to see all the crap you're not supposed to see. This is a VERY preliminary model - if I like it I'll build a better frame and avoid the red tape.
Basically it's just a cardboard box painted flat white on the inside. I cut holes in the sides and covered them with tissue paper. I shine a 250 watt halogen work lamp at each side, and you get a much more ambient light. That's the idea, anyway.

Posso dizer que foi amor à primeira vista, mas ô Pre-Order demorada, tava quase arrancando os cabelos de ansiedade...
Aos que estavam na dúvida de comprar o Natsume devido ao make, só posso dizer que ele é lindo, as fotos que vi por aí não condizem com ele ao vivo. O make é bem discreto e não é tão escuro como eu pensava. ^^
Pra ser sincera é um saco pra fotografar, então, desde já peço desculpas pelas fotos mal feitas e espero que ele não tenha ficado com cara de menina (fico pra morrer com isso).
Quanto a wig, na frete ela é bem macia + esse coque amarradinho atrás me enlouqueceu, (quem já viu a wig stock da Eos sabe do que eu to falando) , é um emaranhado de cabelo fora de lugar que ta me dando aquela crise da tesoura, qndo cismar toso tudo!
Outfit e acessórios dispensam elogios né!? É tanta roupa, da pra vestir dois Taes ou mais numa boa, huashuas
