The Jewel Box is a Food and Beverages entertainment complex at the Mount Faber, the iconic hilltop designation decorated for the Christmas Festival at the main entrance, Mount Faber Road.
At the south-east corner of Trafalgar Square in London is probably the smallest police box ever put into service. An ornamental light fitting originally installed in 1826 was hollowed out by Scotland Yard in 1926, and a telephone and internal light were installed. Police officers could use the telephone to summon assistance. Nowadays this box seems to be used for the storage of street maintenance equipment.
These electrical distribution boxes are an eyesore in most of Taiwan, but in the Nangang district of Taipei, they look amazing!

As promised I tried Rollei RPX 25 in the Box. The light at noon was really harsh. Unfortunately I still did not have my tripod with me so 3 out of 8 negatives became "motion" pictures :). I have checked the auxiliary lenses of my Box Tengor and they are not as nice as the front lens. I will have to find out how to remove them for a cleaning attempt. Actually the pictures did not show any problem... The Rollei RPX 25 became underexposed at f22 and just about right at f16 - despite the clear sky and direct sunlight. No problem: learning, learning, learning... I can perfectly understand why these boxes became so popular in their time (and actually scaled up film production).
Blue post box in East Lexham, Norfolk. It is acting as a donation box for the childrens playground as the villagers pay for the upkeep of the playground themselves. I put a few quid in after taking the picture!!! !!!

I've gotten addicted to designing and printing things on Shapways.com using their rapid prototyping machines. This is my latest design for a small box that 'clicks' into place with a flexible plastic mechanism. My first test-print of a similar box had tolerances much too loose and it didn't click.
