On my way to Yoho Park in BC, I stopped at Bow Lake in Banff Park to capture this panorama. It was a lovely morning with pleasant temperatures and little wind.
I didn't realise that Treecreepers ate peanuts in the winter, but it makes them much easier to photograph.
A narrow staircase that descends from Upper Bow at the Royal Mile, down onto the terrace at Victoria Street, and then onto the street itself.

Mount Jimmy Simpson: The prominent peak in the center background reflecting in the water.
Crowfoot Mountain Range: The massive, snow-dusted, tiered mountain wall sweeping along the right side of the shoreline.
Historic Shoreline: The far-left shore (near the treeline) is home to the historic Simpson's Num-Ti-Jah Lodge.
The photo captures the late-spring transition on the lake, showing partial ice melt along the shore creating classic Canadian Rockies reflections.
Thought I would share my Fog Bow shot I took this morning with my iPhone. Not the best because I started to move with traffic.

Raby Estates have still not taken any action to clear the fallen trees along the Bow Lee beck after more than two years. This local beauty spot is marred by all this dead wood, but "of course it's good for the wildlife"
Busy fall afternoon by the Bow Bridge on the Lake in Central Park. Yes, there was some bumper boat action - Rowing and selfies don't mix.
