There weren't many calm evenings this winter on the Moray Firth. Bow Fiddle Rock, at Portknockie in Scotland, was normally getting beaten pretty hard by the waves. This evening was the exact opposite. Almost completely flat calm but very, very cold. I only got this one shot that evening but decided I was happy enough just sitting on the cliff tops looking out to sea as the sun went down.
I'm not a girly girl, or woman I should say :), so no bows in my house, just on some of my bra's.
This one has such a nice colour and lace, love that.

At night by the Peal River in Guangzhou China, the illuminated Liede Bridge and Canton Tower accompanied each other.

A classic scene - down at the beach at Portknockie, well, lying flat-out precariously on a rocky boulder to keep my shadow out of the shot, with the water lapping around, waves coming in breaking in front of me...
For just these two minutes the light and clouds were in just the right places.
Also in shiny colour.
When I lived in Germany, my Mom would send Christmas presents, and in the box, would be a bag of bows. She didn't think I'd be able to buy them there and presents had to have bows. First Christmas without Momma, so I bought bows.
Taken near Canmore from the 1A Highway. The river is such a stunning colour right now, not like back in June when it was raging and overflowing the banks.

The Bow Asia [IMO 9288588/MMSI 565452000] which was built in 2004 is a chemical/oil products tanker with a 6,219 gross tonnage capacity. She is Singaporean flagged but managed out of Norway by Odfjell Management AS and hence is part of the Odfjell fleet. Her beneficial owner is Odfjell SE of Norway.
I photographed the Bow Asia on her approach to berth at the common user berth No. 1 NQ, Fremantle Ports on January 7, 2015. Once she leaves Fremantle her next port of call is Singapore.
