From a great evening spend with Matilde at the beach of Magoito. Despite of a thunderstorm and heavy rainshowers - nothing could stop us doing pictures . At the end of the day we both were soak but very happy.

@Katja: Did you send the tulips???

In a bit of a contrast to the previous upload, Aurizon locos 6007/6008/6041 head NB913 empty coal northbound through Boggabri, New South Wales, for loading at the Narrabri coal mine on 29 April 2019.

The clean yellow front of 6007 was the only area clear of thick coal grime on the three locos!

Laoise and Ouisa are the best of friends.

Bouncing, computing, cohoshing in RRL tea, and eating pizza and lots of peppers and green sauce tonight. come on already!

I've resorted to Rob's sweater and long johns. permanent garb as I am not leaving the house until the babe is here.

An old shot from when I used to go to sedgemoor camera club, anyone wanting to learn more about photography in Somerset I would recommend this to them.

Volleyball continues on the beaches of Tel Aviv long after the sun goes down.

The Öxarárfoss waterfall at Þingvellir with an anonymous innocent bystander. I went to Þingvellir to catch some of the autumn foliage but unfortunately I was to late. So it's the 3rd year I fail to make images of the color display that marks the change of seasons. I hope I have some luck next time.

The backup plan was to take long exposures of the rivers and waterfalls there. But somehow my tripod had mysteriously moved from the trunk of my car into the garage. So no luck there.

The idea here was to make an image about the wonderful thing that happens when the strong sunlight hits the dense clouds of tiny waterdrops. I don't think I've quite managed to do that decently but I think the image has some qualities and is worth sharing here. The processing wasn't too extensive. It's a manual mix of 3 bracketed handheld exposures with the usual adjustment of contrast, colors and levels.

I also want to thank all you people for your positive feedback recently.

While I was out on my morning walk yesterday, I heard the familiar call. The Wrentit has a 'bouncing ball' call and it is one I always enjoy hearing. It popped up momentarily for one decent shot. Looking forward to more of your wonderful songs!

Children enjoying the day on our community trampoline. This was taken in May but in April our city had the driest month of any main centre in NZ :)

Pffft, the weather is so, so miserable here at the moment, so here's another shot of Dusty, our house rabbit, having fun bouncing around the garden when the weather was better.

it's hard to live with stitches on the top and bottom...but hell maybe I'll actually lose half a pound in the process.

I have one week with the stitches...and I will get my porcelain bridge in just a few days...This has been the longest year of my life. (And I thought living with a house full of drug addicts was rough...)

They walk as if bouncing to the beat of a rhythmic tune without a care in the world but nothing could be less true. The Louisiana Waterthrush will defend its territory along a river, facing off, sometimes with mouth agape and with sharp, rapid beats of their wings. Although this male continued to forage almost uninterrupted and undaunted by my presence, there were occasions when he clearly felt I might be a threat. So as not to overstress the bird, I kept my distance and my visit time to a minimum. Still, it is a treat to have this family so close to my home. #LouisianaWaterthrush

Can you feel the rain like I did?

What to expect during Thailand's Rainy Season - June to October:

* temperature still around 32 degrees Cecius.

* no rain for a week at a time

* night rain and clear days

* Torrential rains that last 30 minutes to 2 hours, then clearing and sun

* overcast days with little to no rain

* two to three days of partial rain in a week is, especially later in the rainy season

Why let the rain spoil your holiday? After the thunder clouds moved away this was my chance to swim in cool rain water combined with warm sea water.Torrential rain drops bounced hard on the curved waves. The view was spectacular. I had to go back to bring my camera. So went back to get my camera, all wrapped up in a plastic bag and made this photo standing in sea. Trying to capture the rain. I hope somehow you can feel the rain too?

(i posted this simply because it was such a beautiful, vivid sky / cloud photo. the sky was amazing that day.)

lyrics.....

POSSE: Clyde

Bouncing off of Clouds we were

Is there a love Lost and Found

Make it easy

Make this easy

it´s not as heavy as it seems

Wrapped in metal

wrapped in ivy

paint it in mint ice cream

We could be Bouncing off the top of this Cloud

I´ll put on my silver

Bouncing off the top of this cloud

Failure to respond but

I did. But did you listen?

Bouncing off the top of this Cloud

I´ll put on my silver

About what you said, has it come to this?

I´ll put on my silver

Bouncing off the top of this Cloud

Well you can stare all day at the sky

But that won´t bring her back

that won´t bring her back

You say you´re waiting on Fate

But I think Fate is now

I think Fate is now

waiting on us

Make it easy

easy easy

we could make this easy

easy love easy

we could make this easy

make this easy

it´s not as heavy as it seems

make this easy

make this easy

it´s not as heavy as it seems

wrapped in metal

wrapped in ivy

blue umbrellas smiling

We could be Bouncing off the top of this Cloud

I´ll put on my silver

About what you said, has it come to this?

I´ll put on my silver

Bouncing off the top of this Cloud

i´ll put on my silver

About what you said, has it come to this?

I´ll put on my silver

Bouncing off of Clouds

we were
