In 2006, sitting in my kitchen on Jackson Street in Oakland, I decided to make a beaded curtain out of bottle caps. It took me two and a half years just to figure out how I would even string the caps. But I did (an awl and a rubber mallot!), and here it is. There are 60 caps per string. Do the math. Now you know why it took 5 years.
If you haven't tried any of the IZZE sodas, you should. Even though they're a tad pricey, they're super yummy. As for the cap? Brilliant!
Check out these great new caps I got recently! A couple of friends of mine gave me these and I love 'em! So many cool colors, textures & designs. My eyes are smiling :)

for about two years I stooped over and picked up every colored object that crossed my path. I placed these objects into bottle caps by color, poured polyurethane over them and then arranged them.
I gotta credit my friend Erich for introducing me to this yummy soda that has extra caffeine in it. We used to buy it by the bottle at D'Bronx Deli here in KC. Bottled and brewed in St. Louis, this soda company has since closed. This one's for you, Erich.
