The things that you have to take pictures of can be very funny if you're in a scavenger hunt. It really does make the day a tad more interesting.

Epoxy resin poured. Had to blow on the surface to pop bubbles. Needed a toothpick to pick off errant strands of fur that settled onto the surface. Kept it in a closed back room to minimize dust or other things getting into the epoxy.

Grout. This was... not good. I think the consistency of my grout was not night. It didn't go down evenly or nicely. I really like the look of grouted bottlecaps that I've seen online but this was the least fun part of the project. I had to go through with a wet paintbrush after to smooth out grout between caps. Would not grout again.
