Aug. 29, 2015: Bottlecap Gazebo by Max Foynton, Andrew Grinberg and the Bottlecap Crew in Fernley, Nevada.
A walk around the local park on a sunny, breezy fall day. Perfect Sunny-16 conditions, so I used stuck with ISO 160 and manual exposure for most of these shots,
I travelled light with just my Leica M8.2 and two lenses, a Jupiter-12 35mm f2.8 and a Schact Travenar 90mm f2.8.
I was sitting out in the beautiful courtyard at the Marriott. They have these large planters full of rocks that look like ice and there was this cap just laying there.....waiting for a photo moment! ha
I love how the camera picked up all the little scratches on tis cap. I also love how the woodpecker is printed on here.
A bottlecap pincushion made using verybigjen's tutorial. The green is the felted wool sweater that I thrifted. The flowers are hand-cut from felt with french knots in the center.
My husband has been collecting bottle caps for several years...recently he decided to make a table top from them...pretty cool!
A close up of some plastic pieces found during the 2014 COASTSWEEP beach cleanup. Smaller pieces of plastic like these can be mistaken for food by marine life.
I tried to make magnets but i dont like these =/ they arent enought bright T_T
Ill do better next time
