SUBJECT: VARIOUS BOTTLE CAPS
When I turned 21, my brother, who's 12 years older than I am, made me taste my first beer! That was the first and the last time I have ever had a beer!
I was craving for Mexican food for lunch today so I went by to a nearby family owned restaurant. While I was having my meal, I saw the waitress opening the bottles by the wall, so after I had my meal, I asked her if I could have some of the caps. She grabbed a plastic bag and gave me the whole thing!
I recently had the opportunity to sample several different brands of beer. I saved the caps for awhile. Photo'd them. Then, threw them away.
Often overlooked, the manufacturers mark on the side of a bottle cap. These caps are from Crown Cork & Seal Company, Continental Can Company, Pelliconi (dap), and Grupo Zapata.
Who would go to a railway museum and photograph an old bus? I guess I did, about 1982. This is a scan of a slide taken at the Western Railway Museum in Solano County, California.

Quillfeldt (flip-top) stopper on the Jamie Oliver water bottle that sits next to my chair. I think the wires showing thru look kind of like a duck face.

The magic hat brand has these on the inside of their bottles. But mostly I'm a sing malt Scotch or a Stella drinker

I like or better to say I love champagne, sparkly and prosecco - and the bubblier, the drier, the better.
I like to check every time also the metal caps and their designs and the most interesting and nice ones to look I repurpose.
I make fridge magnets of them.
When Finland celebrated it's 100 years of independence in 2017 - there was a special edition of bubbly and it had a special metal cap too. Suomi (Finland) 100
As a metal cap fridge magnet enthusiast I had to take several trips to the liquor store - purely for the fridge magnet purposes naturally :o)
