Purposefully futzed with the white balance to make the splash of yellow stand out more against the leaves. Would've been better if I'd framed it without that little pink thing behind it.
I couldn't find an appropriate image on google to relate my story of making fun patterns in math class to an image that Tracy had submitted to the London Eye Photo Competition, so I decided that I was sufficiently bored in work to spend 3 minutes making my own.

Picked up some incense sticks at the shops today. I instantly had a helper in Fin as soon as he heard burning stuff was involved!.To be fair Fin helped loads and wafted the smoke when it got a bit boring. He even pointed out when to take the shot
This marble statue in a Joyce Kilmer Park fountain is supposed to be Lorelei, a mythical siren-type figure from a poem by German Poet Heinrich Heine. It's hard for me to imagine a poem in German, which is probably the least poetic of languages. (I'm going to make all my German followers mad over this.) The fountain depicts Lorelei sitting on a rock in the Thine River among cavorting dolphins and mermaids, but she seems bored by the whole thing, and she has a pigeon as a hat.

Bored waiting for the insurance to get sorted after the burglary, when the robbers took all my camera stuff.
Challenge: IAS Corp. was asked to bring an older Horizontal Boring Mill up to today’s standards with a machine that is accurate, easy to use, reliable, and affordable.
IAS Corp. Solution: Retrofit machine
Following a complete inspection of the machine, our technicians removed the control, motors, drives, and associated electronics. The older control was replaced with a Fagor 8055CNC control, motors were refurbished, the drives were replaced with Baldor units, and electronics were updated. In addition our technicians went through the mechanics and hydraulics. This process was very fast and within a matter of a few months the retrofitted mill was set up and operational at its new location in Pearland, TX. IAS Corp. has since become the primary service provider for this machine shop and has built several additional machines/systems for them.

I exhibited at a Heart Health Luncheon earlier this year and of course the focus was on Women's Heart Health. So here's how I incorporated my handpainted glassware into their theme. " Being healthy does not have to equal boring. Bring the fun to your tableware with unique handpainted glassware".
Ok, I admit, I asked Melanie to take her glasses off. Maybe she's not really bored. She just can't focus on the camera?
