A boy in front of his school. This is a classic pose that can be seen by many Chinese men on a hot summers day to help keep them cool. I never tried it, but with that many people doing it I'm sure it works like a charm.

Bored

Providence, Rhode Island
I went to Federal Hill in Providence today for my photo, planning to do a bit of street photography along Atwells Avenue. I didn't get that far. I parked on one of the side streets and as I was headed towards the area of interest this gentleman struck up a conversation about the photo opportunities here. He's currently unemployed, and as you can see from this photo, he looks quite bored just sitting on the steps of his apartment. He readily consented to a photo, though, and did a great job of not looking at the camera.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, boost black, boost white, and contrast. A levels adjustment and a sepia photo filter were added in PSE.
Me and meg got bored and decided to take pictures of us fully clothed in the bath tub. This was my take on it.
Took the other half out with me with the intention of taking a few photos... does he look bored?
I also played about with the settings trying to get an arty farty look... but not sure whether I have succeeded.

The effect on Moncton is this:
" In Moncton, there is a marker at the Bore Park that shows the height of the water of the Peticodiac River driven up to three metres higher than normal by the high tides backing up the river on Oct. 4, 1869, flooding Moncton's main street."
forgot it took longer to fly from tokyo to hk.
4 hours seemed so long...and the only thing i could from the window is darkness and some stars...and the reflection of myself if i turned on the reading light.
wish i could see a scene like this from the plane. =)
