This is the mate to the bootie shown in the previous picture which appears to be full of sand. We also have another shoe that appears to be coming apart. I didn't see the mate to that one.
No mushrooms showed up in this pic.
This is the 'outfit' complete - apparently these were harder to knit than the little jacket! They do look lovely though.
Now I just need you all to cross your fingers and tell this minx of a baby to shift round from its preferred breech position before a section is forced upon me.

A family heirloom in future generation’s maybe. These tatted delicate (delicate in name only) booties are ideal to present your new born to the world, at the christening, or just to show off. A favorite gift to the new parents or a present from mom or dad to the new child. All hand tatted with a pink accented bow on the sock brocaded and with a satin tie. I must note that sock is purchased and not made by me.
A wonderful accent to the new baby’s wardrobe and sure to be a family treasure for future generations.
Close up of the booties i made to go on the naming cake for Ava.
I have seen these done by quite a few people on flickr, but i love love love and got my main inspiration from this pair of booties by sweet tiers www.flickr.com/photos/31041954@N07/3900165118/

That is the name of the pattern, not my analysis of my knitting, hehe!

Knit for an old friend who just had twin boys!
These did turn out pretty cute, I must say, though I was nervous at first. I omitted the ribbon/icord tie and made a shorter cuff because I was afraid of running out of yarn.
The organic cotton is actually quite nice, it feels pretty soft (the blue is softer than the green), it held up to a few froggings, etc.
I would definitely knit these again, I just wish there was no seaming!
My grandma just gave me the book they are sitting on, it's a Mother Goose book from 1940ish where 8 or 9 children's illustrators each got their own section to illustrate... some good stuff in there!
Worked these up by adjusting my simple booties pattern (http://crochetme.com/patterns/simple-baby-booties). These are made with 4ply yarn which has nice long colour changes - this looked good on the matching baby dress but a little strange with these booties as they are different colours... any suggestions for how to make them look more of a pair?
A new item from Tammy...
Bunny Booties!!
Friends please bear with me for a short while... End of term coming up as well as spring fever. Demands on my time prevent me from being able to spend as much time on Flickr as I would like, or to comment as much :( I am still browsing through when I can and trying to stay up on the great photo's y'all are putting up!!
These blue booties have a strand of tiny fuzzy yarn that feels like angora, ties have bug buttons at the end

I was looking for some nice black shoes to wear with any kind of pants for going out- something nicer than sneakers.
Success!! Plus bonus points for the buckles.
This is the pair of baby booties I finished last night. They're from the same antique pattern book. I'm having such fun!
These booties were knitted by a friend for Noah when he was small.
Today I heard that she gave birth to her own little boy yesterday and so these seemed like the perfect PAD to say, welcome to the world baby Fred.
Also, rainbow the SH.
it was cold and they were giving me the cold shoulder they would not turn around so I shot them in the booty
