jenny's tight jeans

Pattern is from www.craftandme.com

These booties are for charity, never tried crocheting for babies before, this project was quite fun to try.

This is the third pattern for booties that I've tried. So far this one seems to be coming out well, except the wee needles keep stabbing me in the palm (need to find my longer DPNs) and I'm still not sold on this yarn. It was in someone's destash that I took on, and I'm not convinced it works with the smaller needles.

The shiny flecky bits make it not as soft as I'd imagine the average baby yarn should be.

Sweet pink hand made baby booties with flowers. You can imagine your baby girl in the middle of the meadow.

These soft wool felt baby booties are fit to 0-3month.

Erica ( www.facebook.com/pages/Anita-Art/117762224956614 ) contributed her baby booties. Buttons are hand made by me.

When your child become a toddler you can sew these flower buttons to her dress as applique.

inlove with black boots with an exciting heel in color and texture. Theses Betsey Johnson booties make me so happy!

These mary-jane style booties range in size from 0-3 months to 12-18 months.

And to think we all used to be small enough to fit into these!

This is the first pair of baby booties. I made them for my friend Tiffer for her baby shower yesterday. The pattern says they're made to fit a newborn, so hopefully Maddy's feet aren't too big!

The shower went well! Lots of food, a few games, and a lot of really nice gifts (see below).

Tiffer is due August 11th - exactly one month after the shower and one year and one month since they're wedding. Tiffer's mom, though, is sure she could pop within the next week. How exciting to think we could have a little addition in the next week or two!! :D

With pedestrian BS.
