A stitched, panoramic, long exposure, landscape image of Bow Fiddle Rock near Portknockie in Morayshire, Scotland.
I have taken many images of Bow Fiddle but for some time now, I have been meaning to do a panorama of the Bow. All too often, the average image of it does not convey the size of the rock sufficiently. A wide angle lens gets the whole scene but always makes it too small in the image. This image was to finally address this so it could be seen for the size it actually is. Glad I finally did it. :-)
A GREETING CARD star, one of the nations favourites. Often bold and inquisitive in garden settings, strongly and conspicuously territorial, so how can you not take its picture, I love them, seen at Stodmarsh, Kent, UK.

This little fellow visits us twice a day to remind us to put out some bird seed. He'll strut around and yell at you until his food is brought out!
These Bewick's wrens call out whenever they're in the area, so though small, I always know when they're near. They also are willing to come out in the open. The only difficulty with them is that they move around a lot. This one chose a very nice viewpoint, and stayed long enough for the shot. In our yard.

I thought it would be great fun to increase vibrancy and add some effects to a group of tulips. The blooms were already bold, but I wanted them bolder! Happy Sliders Sunday! HSS!

My first try at growing these beautiful Crocosmia flowers from corms given to me by a neighbourhood Community Gardener.
The abundant eye-catching, brillliantly red, tubular [hummimgbird attracting] flowers appear in midsummer atop bold, slightly arching, sparsely branched 3-foot-tall stems. Crocosmia's mid-green leaves are pleated and swordlike. www.finegardening.com/plant/crocosmia-lucifer
Noteworthy Characteristics
Crocosmia is a genus of about 7 species of cormous plants from grasslands in South Africa. [...].
Genus name comes from the Greek words krokos meaning saffron and osme meaning a smell for the smell of dried flowers steeped in warm water.
'Lucifer' is an Alan Bloom hybrid (Crocosmia x Curtonus) which has flowers and foliage that are similar to gladiolus. Hello amazing Flickr People !!
Today is a pink day at Color my World daily Group and nuts and bolts are the theme at Smile on Saturday.
I decided to go with the smallest nuts and bolds I could find in my house. People !! You have no idea how difficult those are to work with !! Just to put them one on top of another it took me 30 minutes and at least 1500 tries !!!! And then I sneezed and had to pick another tiny bolt since one was missing and was impossible to find on my floor (even with a magnifying glass !!). Yes, I have a tendency to exaggerate a little bit but still it was truly difficult working with those tiny nuts and bolds. I almost went nuts lol !!!!
They come from miniature finger skates my sons play with. We even have some very tiny tools to go with those. And since the skates are very small also you ride them with your fingers … Yes, men and their toys are truly fascinating lol

Associated with large, rocky riverine systems, a boldly-marked river bird with long yellow beard-like pointed wattles, remarkably aggressive, with a loud, fast and repeated peep peep peep.
Seen in Zambia, such a joy to watch.
