Little bit of soft simple bokeh taken from a hill near my house at sunset.

I sort of thought a little bit of a filmy vibe to it.

Time and light it has been said are two of the raw materials of photography

Wouldn't it be great if bokehs live in a bottle and when you need them, you just open up the bottle and place the bokehs wherever you want? Just daydreaming. ;p

I have recently seen a few pictures in explore of people placing rocks on top of each other and in various locations, I really liked this idea and wanted to try my own version and plus it gave me a really good excuse to play with my rocks…lol

The setup…Like my previous picture I used foil in the background to create my Bokeh. This time I scrunched up the foil and had lots of small little creases, which gave me a smaller Bokeh. I used a torch again to light the background with a blue gel.

I placed the rocks on my table (I forgot to wipe the table down and you can see my finger prints on in…lol). The rocks are actually white but because I used a incandescent torch this does not show…but I do like how the incandescent torch changed the colour of the stones gave it a warmer feel.

I was really happy how the picture turned out but felt like something was missing, so I decide to add some text, originally I was going to add 'Insert zen quote' but as much as I found that funny, it did not sit right with the picture, so I went for balance is beautiful instead for a personal reason.

Just decreased the blacks, shadows and highlights in LR. I used PS to create the text, again I used the overlay blend mode and added a outer glow to the text.

For those who asked about the Foil, this is where I got it from www.diyphotography.net/el-bokeh-wall

Part 3 of a new series on day time long exposures called Time Lapse

Time-lapse is a cinematography technique whereby each film frame is captured at a rate much slower than it will be played back.

Although this photo has nothing to do with cinematography the idea behind this has some similarities, and I just thought it was a nice title for a new series.

In this new series the emphasis will be more on architectural shots and combining this with long exposures.

Now this is clearly not an architectural shot. But I saw this tree when I went on a long trip yesterday to capture some buildings, I didn't capture one single building but a lot of trees and landscapes. Well, sometimes things don't turn out the way you've planned it and I have to say the objects that nature provides us with are far more impressive than any man made object. I had to capture this tree since I've noticed some nice cloud movement and saw that moon.

sparklers from one of my best friend's wedding last night

A relaxing day with a beer sitting with a friend on the Danube Quay.

I photographed him, holding his Fuji X-T20 camera and the SMC Takumar 35mm f2 lens that was adapted to it. In this photo I used my Sony A7 camera and the Samyang 12mm lens f2.8 Fisheye lens

Another image from today. Used little tilt-shift effect in the process. Had hoped for a train to arrive at the time I was there. This wee town dosn't have that many trains at the moment ;)

Week 9: Artistic Inspiration; "Mood" .

I had a couple ideas last week when I took this. At first I wanted to create a flow using long exposure. Instead I used lights to create motion. Finding strength and motivation again, wishing it to glow....
