Saw these lights and thought they might look ok de-focussed, not sure though...

VWS4566 Copyright VW Selburn 2010: Playing with light in the café at Newmarket Stud. The lights were pretty on the Christmas tree.

First outdoor DSLR experience with my brand new Canon EOS Rebel T2i with the wonderful nifty fifty Canon EF 50m f/1.8 II which provides a beautiful bokeh.

I always wanted to try this make-your-own-heart bokeh thing....isn't it pretty?

For Halloween, I've been crafting various bokeh filters. These shots were taken of city lights and/or fireworks. The texture in the light/color area is because this filter was made with a plastic sandwich baggy.

I love a good Christmas light bokeh shot! And Christmas morning is almost as exciting now as it was when I was a kid. I was even up at 6AM, but that was more because of the 2 hour time difference than anything else. Heh.
