We had a good haul this trip. A lot of this stuff has been deployed in our house and it's as if we've always had it. The blue guitar is pretty much the best acoustic guitar in the house, because it sounds really great AND looks great. It gets a lot of use. Can't believe the guy just said "make an offer". I guess $20 was too high, because he accepted it right away.
We've already used the new automatic card shuffler when we've played Last Night On Earth and RoboRally with friends. The lamp is in our bedroom and it's nice to have one that is so adjustable. Not 6pictured was a firepit that we dropped off at MakePeace.

24 pieces (2 identical sets of 12 unique pieces in white and black colors)
1 game board
Setup
Each player receives 12 unique pieces of one color and arranges them in 4 stacks on own side, close to the game board.
How to play
Players alternate turns starting with the player who controls the white pieces.
Type of pieces
Each unique piece is cut out in the middle and defined by three different properties affecting the gameplay:
piece size: small, medium or large
interior shape of a piece: square or circle
exterior shape of a piece: square or circle
Players actions
During player’s turn player may perform one of 2 actions:
place a new piece on the board, or
move a piece on the board to a new field (Players cannot remove pieces from the board once they have been deployed)
Pieces movement
A player may only move pieces of own color. Player is allowed to only take and move the exterior piece of the stack. Even if other pieces are placed inside. Pieces surrounded by the opponent's one cannot be moved. They are blocked at the moment.

to any empty field on the gameboard
inside/outside of the other pieces (own or opponent’s), if it can be placed without collision.
If a piece cannot be placed without collision on a field, then player cannot place it there.

Ken's boys have me playing one of their favorite board games. One tries to get their chicken characters (ash wearing a different hat) to the top, without being knocked off my a round egg launched by an angry rooster.
I found it also as a game called "Chuck It Chicken" boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/23656/chuck-it-chicken
These are all the apps currently on my iPhone. There are many, many notes with links. If there isn’t a note on an app leave a comment and I’ll add one. I just did my favorites at the moment. To get a closer look, see the original size.
Tip: to get an idea for what I added notes to see tags at the right.
Here’s a guide:
* I use MobileMe to keep my calendar, contacts, preferences, and other data in sync. I went without it for 6 months… it is worth the cost.
* Screens 1-3 contain my general use apps.
* Screens 3-4 contain music creation apps
* Screens 5-6 contain my video game apps
* Screen 6-7 board game apps (some of which are video games)
* The end of screen 7 is trial apps and apps I’m trying out.
* I arrange each section alphabetically. I tried one large alpha index but found that the categories help.
* The only app I have liked that I do not have installed (because I beat it!) is Flight of The Amazon Queen. If you like Monkey Island or Maniac Mansion try it out.
* Some of these will get deleted next time I clean up. I keep games around because my taste and time available to play them changes.
* I’ve been making music with just the iPhone, and sometimes using Ableton Live to record and overlay tracks.
* I prefer music instrument apps over ones that sequence.
* I keep plenty of different music apps on there in case the desire to make that kind of sound strikes me.
* I misaligned the last screenshot in Photoshop before closing out and didn’t save my progress. It is driving me crazy.
Theseus is the name of this game. It's a Czech board game, a rather neat mix between an abstract puzzle and a thematic experience. Factions stranded on a spaceship, as many different ones as there are players - here, we played with two, with the Scientists (who want to research everything and lay traps to defend themselves) against the Bots (who want to destroy everything by finding its weaknesses and then hitting fast and hard).
This was the fourth play, before this one the two of us had played three with Aliens (like the Gyger ones, running through ducts and multiplying) against the Greys (Area 51 like aliens who rely on Psi powers like mind control and invisibility).

I was pretty bored today lol
Part of a series themed around table top and board games.
Kiwetin is a dice-based race game that seems a bit too simple at first, but as players climb through the forest, the forest itself changes the game.
Beautiful artwork and crafted game pieces really set this game apart.
