After a workshop at Bluedog Photography www.bluedog.com.au on Mt Tamborine, we found time to revisit the gallery walk, stubmling across this magnificent Jag. The owner was only too pleased to see us photograph it. Wow
The Jaguar XK150 was a sports car produced by Jaguar between 1957 and 1961. It replaced the previous XK140.
Initially it was available in Fixed Head Coupé (FHC) and Drop Head Coupé (DHC) versions. The Open Two Seater (OTS) Roadster model was not launched until 1958. Token rear seats were fitted in the coupés.
The standard engine, the same as fitted to the XK140, was the 3.4 litre DOHC Jaguar straight-6 rated at 180 SAE bhp at 5750 rpm but most cars were fitted with the SE engine that had a modified cylinder head with larger exhaust valves rated at 210 SAE bhp at 5500 rpm. Twin 1.75-inch (44 mm) SU HD6 carburettors were fitted.Production ended in October 1960,[1] and totaled 2265 Roadsters, 4445 Fixed Head Coupés and 2672 Drop Head Coupés. March 23 2009

Second graders painted these blue dogs after reading "Why is Blue Dog Blue?" We talked about how colors can represent different emotions and looked at tons of Rodrigue's Blue Dog paintings. Each student chose the colors for the own "Blue Dog". Surprisingly, there weren't very many blue dogs!

Oso has to be one of the most beautiful blue pit bulls I have ever met, and also the biggest! He was rescued by a lady who lived across the street from his original owners. One day she saw the owner beating him with a shovel on their front lawn. She called the police and rescued Oso. And now he's found a new and SAFE forever home.

This is raven(solid blue brindle) and pixie these girls are ALWAYS together at first i wasnt too sure about having this many pups in the house at once but the wild life style is worth it i mean how could you say no to such beautiful girls!!!

141/365: This is me and Blue Dog, allegedly a gift for my niece that hasn't yet made it into the now-shockingly-late Christmas parcel to Texas. He is soft and I like to hold his paws, especially when I am contemplating bad news received on a very long Wednesday, on top of a full-body ache like I have a flu coming on. But really I think it is just a medication hangover.
