These designs are hand printed on fabric using wooden blockes dipped in dye. You can get custom design in custom colors if you are willing to wait a few days to get the fabric. Since the length of the fabric they print at a time is approximately 10 yards, it's very hard to find matching print.

Here's a Monkey Sock in progress, being modeled on my foot, which is proof positive that you can try on socks that are on DPNs. Disclaimer: they're long metal DPNs; I certainly wouldn't try on short bamboo ones.

I had my worst photographer's block yet, lying in bed, trying to think of something to shoot so i could go to sleep. I eventually gave up and just took a picture from exactly where I was, exactly in the direction I was facing. :P
