I promise I'll get the fabrics sent out to you all tomorrow, sorry I'm a little behind :). These are the fabrics I've chosen so far.....

The color in my kitchen was a little weird this afternoon - the greens in the prints are much brighter. Hope you like it, Dar! I also made her a bonus block - but I'm keeping that one a secret so she has a little surprise when she gets my package!
The block that almost wasn't! My background is directional - I knew that, I reminded myself numerous times, I was certain I wouldn't forget, I forgot - my background is upside down! I use swarvorski heat set crystals for the eyes and mouth, at times I've considered using a press cloth when applying them - I should have - I scorched my snowman's face with my applicator wand. I scrubbed and scrubbed but there are still faint scorch marks on his face. I back baste my blocks before needle turning so I use crayola washable markers to trace the design - warning, orange is very difficult to get out! fortunately, after scrubbing and rinsing the marks finally disappeared.
I finished the bottom left block of the nyb doll quilts I'm making. I'm workiing on both at the same time. So one block done for each.

Great wins by both Portsmouth teams.

Trying to catch up, here are my first 9 blocks. I will be making blocks until I feel I have enough and then will put it together.
I am not sure about my color combination's on this one but I love each block individually.
I have been cutting out my blocks for my partner! Not all together yet but it gives you an idea what is in my stash! I hope you like these partner!
People in the Africa south of the Sahara, in the Americas, and in Australia never invented the wheel. This device, one of six simple machines, was unknown on this coast until Europeans brought it with them on ships in the form of blocks, as sailors call pulleys.
The title of this picture might have been "block and tackle," except that you can't see the tackle, which is the other pulley in the system.
Is it any wonder that a geometer loves quilt blocks? These blocks were all pieced by hand and measure 12 inches square plus a seam allowance.
Here are the letters I have left (so far) from my set of Alphbet Blocks. These letters are embossed in the wood.
