I finished block 4. It was fun to do. i used wool on my bunny and a bit of sparkle here and there too.
The debris from the recent strimming that had been left behind was washed down the ditch and blocked the grill on the drain.
One of my two bee blocks for IMAGINE at do. Good Stitches.
The white background fabric really is the same for both blocks. I took each photo under different lighting conditions :-/

2009-FEB-23; It is strangely comforting to know that my kin are buried near Dan Blocker. He was reportedly as nice in person as his character was in the "Bonanza" series.
The blanket fit perfectly on my foam puzzle mats, to block. It's wet here, so the colours appear darker.
Italian butcher block that was used by the famous Macelleria (butcher) Falorni in Greve. Antique knife is from the 1800's and we have just included this because it looks great with the piece.

WIP quick curve blocks before creating hst. Insired by www.fatquarterly.com/quick-curved-ruler-brioni-2.html
Some blocks I started making from a pattern in the latest American Patchwork & Quilting magazine from my Verna by Kate Spain layer cake & some coordinating Bella solids. I love these! I'll probably keep making them with the entire layer cake.
Also, "60 blocks of summer" #'s 3, 4, 5 & 6.
This is the printing block that the previous halftones were printed from (see accompanying photos). The plate is attached to a wood block to make it type high. It's difficult to see the positive image when looking at this reverse one but I am pleased with the results. Oh, the highlight on the cross is the above light fixture, not miraculous!
The block that almost wasn't! My background is directional - I knew that, I reminded myself numerous times, I was certain I wouldn't forget, I forgot - my background is upside down! I use swarvorski heat set crystals for the eyes and mouth, at times I've considered using a press cloth when applying them - I should have - I scorched my snowman's face with my applicator wand. I scrubbed and scrubbed but there are still faint scorch marks on his face. I back baste my blocks before needle turning so I use crayola washable markers to trace the design - warning, orange is very difficult to get out! fortunately, after scrubbing and rinsing the marks finally disappeared.
