WIP quick curve blocks before creating hst. Insired by www.fatquarterly.com/quick-curved-ruler-brioni-2.html
Some blocks I started making from a pattern in the latest American Patchwork & Quilting magazine from my Verna by Kate Spain layer cake & some coordinating Bella solids. I love these! I'll probably keep making them with the entire layer cake.
Also, "60 blocks of summer" #'s 3, 4, 5 & 6.
This is the printing block that the previous halftones were printed from (see accompanying photos). The plate is attached to a wood block to make it type high. It's difficult to see the positive image when looking at this reverse one but I am pleased with the results. Oh, the highlight on the cross is the above light fixture, not miraculous!

Is it any wonder that a geometer loves quilt blocks? These blocks were all pieced by hand and measure 12 inches square plus a seam allowance.

Disused blast furnaces at Blist's Hill Victoran village, Ironbridge. Although the blocky rubble suggested an abandoned Aztec temple, serpent gods are believed to be quite rare in Shopshire.
A quiet Buddhist temple surrounded by a shopping mall, busy streets, and apartment blocks. Still, it's very nice, and the Buddhist figures are extremely well done.
