I had actually thought I was taking a photo of the Cat's Eye Nebula, but apparently I keyed the wrong object into the goto controller.
Pheobe was made for my friend Erin's baby girl who is due in September. She doesn't have any antennae because I knew those would be the first to get ripped off, especially if she was being drug around by her antennae.
She has bits of plastic wrappers stuffed in her feet because babies love crinklely things.

These blinking eye leaves cover the floor. You insert a bunch of these into this large white tree structure and they shoot out the top, billowing out and forming a falling cloud of blinking eyes...
Known in the 1960s as the Satellite, on the corner of Front and Garfield Streets in Traverse City, the metal model of Sputnik on the roof is now blinking again! Good ice cream too!
I don't think I can handle 365 right now. I can't really handle pictures of me and only me at the moment.
I think I might do a photo-a-week thing instead. it would give me incentive to take pictures without being MY FACE ALL THE TIME OH GREAT.

Σε συνέχεια του από 24 Απριλίου 2020 Δελτίου Τύπου μας, σας ενημερώνουμε ότι σήμερα 27 Απριλίου 2020 στις 13:00 πραγματοποιήθηκε, κάτω από ιδιαίτερα μέτρα προφύλαξης όπως αυτά απαιτούνται, λόγω της πανδημίας του Covid-19, η τελετή παράδοσης στο Γ. Ν. Α. <> των δυο (2) τροχήλατων Νοσοκομειακών Δωδεκακάναλων Καρδιογράφων MORTARA τύπου ELI 280. Η τελετή παράδοσης έγινε από την Κυβερνήτη του Θέματος 117Α, L. Έφη Νικολαΐδη, στον Διοικητή του Νοσοκομείου κ. Ιωάννη Κοτσαρίδη, παρουσία του Δ/ντου της Ιατρικής Υπηρεσίας Ιατρού Καρδιολόγου Αθανασίου Τρίκα, της προέδρου Επιτροπής Λοιμώξεων Ιατρού Μικροβιολόγου Κωνσταντίνας Δασκαλοπούλου, της Διοικητικής Διευθύντριας Ειρήνης Καριατλή, της Αν. Διευθύντριας Νοσηλευτικής Υπηρεσίας κ. Χαϊμαδή Κοντογιάννη και της Υγειονολόγου Τ.Ε Παρασκευής Χέλμη. Μετά την παραλαβή των ιατρικών μηχανημάτων ο Διοικητής του Νοσοκομείου αφού ευχαρίστησε για την δωρεά, στο πρόσωπο της Κυβερνήτου, το σύνολο των Lions του Θ117Α, επισήμανε ότι οι δύο καρδιογράφοι πρόκειται να καλύψουν επιτακτικές ανάγκες που προέκυψαν στο Νοσοκομείο, λόγω πανδημίας του COVID-19. Η Κυβερνήτης του Θέματος 117Α στην αντιφώνηση της, αναφέρθηκε στους ανθρωπιστικούς σκοπούς της οργάνωσης μας, καθώς και το τεράστιο έργο που έχει πραγματοποιηθεί στα 65 χρόνια λαϊονισμού στην Πατρίδα μας. Επίσης, η Κυβερνήτης μας τόνισε την άμεση ανταπόκριση του LCIF, του παγκόσμιου ιδρύματος αλληλοβοηθείας, στο υποβληθέν αίτημα μας, για την χορήγηση του σχετικού emergency grant, ώστε να αντιμετωπιστούν οι έκτακτες ανάγκες, λόγω της πανδημίας του Κορωνοϊού. Τέλος η Κυβερνήτης αναφέρθηκε ότι η πορεία θωράκισης των Νοσοκομείων της χώρας από τους Lions Νοτίου Ελλάδας και Νήσων, συνεχίζεται, με την επικείμενη διάθεση εντός της εβδομάδας και ενός (1) τροχήλατου Απινιδωτή με Βηματοδότη, στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Δυτικής Αττικής <>.Ευχαριστούμε όλους όσους βοήθησαν στην επίτευξη αυτού του σκοπού και κυριότερα το Ίδρυμα LCIF για την άμεση ανταπόκρισή του στην ανάγκη. On the way back from picking up a few groceries last night, I put them down to shoot this splash of red light being cast by a blinking traffic light. I set the camera on a Wendy's drive-through "EXIT" sign to keep it steady.
The other day, I wanted to shoot the same blinking light's reflection in the wet black pavement, but I had my hands seriously loaded up with groceries and didn't feel like having to reassemble everything again!
