This is a card I made with an old photo of the hill of Tara in Ireland. Every year I send out St. Patrick's Day cards to my family.
The Second Blessings Gift Shop on U. S. 30, the Lincoln Highway is permanently closed. The Building appears to be an old Howard Johnson.
The priest at the Cathedral of St Philip went through gallons of holy water, blessing some of the 60,000 runners.
See the black buckets? Someone from the church would take the smaller bucket inside, come back with it full, and dump the water into the larger bucket. The priest would refill his silver bowl from the large bucket. This went on for three hours.
The Blessing of the Animals service recognizes that the animals with whom
we share this planet are important to us, to God, and we are blessed by their
presence in our lives.
