In 2003, when the number of “God Bless America” bumper stickers in Utah was at its peak, I thought I’d make a couple variations to represent some more inclusive views. Honored to see Stefan still has ’em up.
‘God Bless America’ by Seward Johnson has made it to downtown Mesa Arizona. This is a 25 foot sculpture replica of the famous Grant Wood painting ‘American Gothic’. I drove by and had to stop and watch all the visitors admiring it. Most all of them had a camera out too. I have to admit it is pretty impressive to see.

L'exercice du 3eme Bataillon du Royal 22e Régiment (3 R22R) dans les secteurs d'entraînement de Valcartier, QC, le 1 décembre 2011. Pendant l'exercice NMC3, les membres du 3 R22R ont sautés en parachute, exécuté une marche de 13 km ainsi qu'une attaque de peloton avec munitions réelles et une évacutation de blessés..

The 3rd Bataillon of the Royal 22e Régiment (3 R22R) participate in an exercise in the training areas Valcartier, QC, on the December 1st 2011. During the exercise NMC3, the members of 3 R22R parachuted from a griffon helicopter, executed at 13 km march, as well as an platoon attack with live ammunition and completed a casualty evacuation (CASEVAC)..

22 juillet 2013 : une manif des Frères se dirige vers l'ambassade US, très proche de TaHrir. Des hommes tirent sur les anti Morsi à l'aide de fusils à pompe et vraisemblablement d'autres armes. Les Anti-Morsi décident alors de repousser les pro Morsi sur la corniche, la route qui longe le Nil. Les combats sont violents : feux d'artifice, pistolets bricolés à l'aide de tubes en métal, pistolets à air comprimé, fusils à pompe, pierre... Au fur et à mesure des charges et retraites, les Frères sont repoussés. La police assiste pendant un long moment au spectacle sans bouger, puis se joint aux anti-Morsi, se contentant toutefois de tirer quelques lacrymos et laissant les deux camps s'entretuer. FInalement, les pro Morsi battent en retraite. Du côté des anti Morsi, beaucoup de blessés, surtout par des plombs voire des balles, et semble-t-il trois morts.

Freiwillige Helfer unterstützen die Anwohner in Erftstadt-Blessem bei den Aufräumarbeiten. Nach dem Starkregen in Erftstadt-Blessem flutete die Erft eine Kiesgrube. Die darauffolgenden Erdrutsche beschädigten den Ort schwer. Noch drei Wochen nach der Katastrophe sind Anwohner mit dem Ausräumen ihrer Häuser und der Stadt beschäftigt. Inzwischen wird ein neuer Damm gebaut, um die Erft zu sichern.
Flutkatastrophe in Deutschland Juli 2021: Die lokalen Caritas-Mitarbeitenden stehen an der Seite der Flutopfer in Deutschland. Die Nothilfe-Maßnahmen laufen auf Hochtouren und werden ständig erweitert. Caritas-Helferinnen und Helfer verteilen Nahrungsmittel, kümmern sich um Evakuierte und leisten psychologische Unterstützung.
Die Folgen der Flutkatastrophe in Nordrhein-Westfalen, Rheinland-Pfalz und Oberbayern sind verheerend: überflutete Orte, weggerissene Straßen, eingestürzte Häuser, Einsturzgefahr bei vielen weiteren Gebäuden.

Been looking forward to this show for ages. I have BTF's first album but this is the first time I've seen them. Joiners was pretty rammed for every band, and the crowd was characteristically active...was actually insane! I even bought Bless The Fall's cd I was THAT impressed. Turns out they're nice guys too.
