Our heavy Spring snowfall killed off my daffodils and damaged my tulips, but the bleeding heart plant managed to survive and thrive.
When the gas fitter came last week he said that I should bleed the radiators a week later - so that's what I'm doing. Air did come out of one.
Happy Mother's Day--so of course this is for my Mom. But it is also for my Dad--they will understand why. Have a great day Everyone.

The bleeding-heart pigeon has a dark red patch on the chest that looks like an open wound. The upperparts are gray and the underparts are white. Males have blue eyes, and females have purple or purple-gray eyes. They have longer legs than most other pigeons. They are 10-12 inches long.
The Naptown Roller Girls from Indianapolis take on the Bleeding Heartland Roller Girls from Bloomington Indiana in their third bout of Season 8 at the Indianapolis Indiana Convention Center.

Taken on the grounds of Biltmore Estates, but this flower can be found in certain spots in the wild. I don't think its a native plant to the US as wikipedia says Lamprocapnos spectabilis (Dicentra spectabilis) is native to Eastern Asia, found from Siberia south to Japan. Taken on a photo shoot with my friend Harold Ross, Jr.
