When posing, the weakest articulation is the knee double joint. The technic pins do not provide enough friction and collapse easily under weight. Anyway, cool poses can still be achieved without need for auxiliary supports.
This mother makes sure her offspring come closer as she realizes there are humans on the path ahead. The family decided to move off into the woods rather than cross our paths. I can't say as I blame them. This photo was taken around the same time as a bear was known to be roaming the city. He was found a day or two later and relocated to a nice forest away from the city.

you weren't perfect but you made life worth it. been a long time since i spoke to you. and i hope you are have a good time, cause i definitely be having mine. and i was satisfied being in love with the lie. who to blame? you to blame, me to blame, for the pain? and it poured every time when it rained.. let's play the blame game. things used to be, now they not. anything but us is who we are. we've become public enemies. we walk away like strangers in the street, gone for eternity. we erased one another. so far from where we came with so much of everything, how do we leave with nothing? lack of visual empathy equates the meaning of L-O-V-E. hatred and attitude tear us entirely.

For just a brief moment, I saw a bird - a swallow, in fact - in the shape of the cloud.. By the time I put my camera up to capture it, the wind had all but torn it apart..
I don't blame the wind for it's destruction. After all, the shape was a creation of the wind in the first place. Like the idle hand of the artist, idly drawing sketches in the sand, and then wiping them away to clear the canvas for another shape..
Every year... the same story...

TRIGGER WARNING: Rape & victim blaming.
It is estimated that only 6% of rapes and sexual assaults are actually reported, which is a frightfully low number. I have started a new project aiming to explore the reasons behind this, which started from the #ididnotreport hashtag on twitter - where survivors or rape/sexual abuse tell of their numerous reasons why they didn’t report it to anyone. This is the first series of images - numerous things that victims are told time and time again whenever they do actually report their abuse to someone - be it a friend, parent, family member, stranger or the authorities. We live in a society of rape culture where the victim is almost constantly blamed - told that they drank too much, wore too little, were out too late by themselves, flirted too much, are too “slutty”, are too “frigid”, are making a big deal out of “nothing”, the rapist was their partner so it obviously wasn’t rape because you can’t be raped by someone you’re in a relationship with. The things that victims constantly get told by the media, the people they know, rape “jokes”, songs, the authorities…they are painted on them so that they can never forget. To remind them that it is all “their fault” - if they hadn’t gone there/drank alcohol/wore that skirt/flirted etc, it wouldn’t have happened. Obviously.
I intend to expand on this series of photographs in the near future, and there is a lot more to come from this project, this is only the very starting point. My aim is to bring the idea of rape culture, slut-shaming, and victim-blaming to the attention of more people. To try and examine why 94% of rapes/assaults/abuse are never reported to the police, and to try and make that number decrease.
