The blacksmith lapwing or blacksmith plover (vanellus armatus) is a lapwing species that occurs commonly from Kenya through central Tanzania to southern Africa. Diet: small aquatic and terrestrial invertebrates, which includes insects, worms, dragonfly nymphs, other insects and their larvae, beetles and ants, molluscs and crustaceans, and occasionally some plant material.

Kruger National Park is a South African National Park and one of the largest game reserves in Africa. It covers an area of 19,623 km2 in the provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga in northeastern South Africa, and extends 360 km from north to south and 65 km from east to west.

Set in an idyllic location opposite St. Mary's Church which is renowned for it's Saxon cript attracting thousands of visitors each year. The Blacksmiths Arms dates back to the 17th century retaining many original features including exposed beams and an open fire place creating warm atmosphere to locals and visitors alike

 

Lastingham is a village which lies in the Ryedale district of North Yorkshire, England. It is on the southern fringe of the North York Moors, 5 miles north-east of Kirkbymoorside

Selective coloring is a process I have long been fascinated with, but haven't mastered. Every once in a while though, I get one I like.
