Finally after nearly a month of awful weather conditions in the UK at sunset I managed to get out with the camera last night to capture this dramatic light at Langstone Harbour, Hayling Island, Hampshire!
I was driving home from work though the heavy rain last night and thought to myself that the camera would stay in the bag for yet another day but at around 8pm the rain stopped so out I went to find the waters of my local harbour calm and providing some nice reflections of the dark moody clouds and some colour.
1/5 second exposure using a Lee 0.9 + 0.6 (reversed) ND grad filters.

no words can describe this wonderful natural experience. Early cold morning, you are on the top of the Rocky mountain (approx 20,000 ft), suddenly you see the sun rising between the mountains clearing out those black clouds... absolutely amazing.

The Tchong Kemin Valley is part of the Tian Shan Mountains ("Mountains of Heaven").
About 2450 km long, about 400 km wide and up to 7439 m high mountain range in the north of the inner-Asian mountain system High Asia.
A typical monsoon night is expected to be cloudy with little or no sight of moon. Got the glimpse of this moon only for a few minutes , then it was cloudy all over again.

Generally when it started to rain in Kuala lumpur, it rains heavily, but this day was special one. It has all emotion mixed from my point of view. I stayed at Villa scott building at 28th floor at Little India place. and I witnessed this amazing view from my balcony. This day mixed with all weather condition possible in kuala lumpur.
A happy view for my mood and of course for my camera as well.

One of the first proper Landscape Photography outings of the year for me (November!!) which is very poor but I've had various injuries to contend with but thankfully now fully on the mend!
5 of us headed out to Northumberland for 4 days which turned out to be a fantastic trip if not a little 'challenging' in the weather stakes! We had driven overnight to here which was the first stop off point for sunrise, and as it went would be the only time we saw any sunlight for the entire trip... This was as you can probably guess taken off the drone as the angle of the Sun here at this time of year was massively favourable to shooting off the beach, it's years since I've been here and had been high on my list for a revisit mainly due to rumours of the Pier being due to be demolished, whether this is still the case I don't know?
We ended up staying around here for a few hours after the main bit of light had gone and still managed to create some great images, infact all through the trip despite the decidedly poor lighting I've still managed to come away with some images that I'm really happy with which I'll upload in the coming weeks.

I wanted to upload this while it was still fresh in my mind. The quote is from the song "Black and White".
Immediately after hearing that Michael Jackson had died I went out for my smoke break. These clouds were just like this when I walked out the door. It wasn't until I uploaded the photo to my computer that I noticed the face in the sky. Do you see it?
This is straight from my camera except for using Picasa to convert it to black and white.
We went over to Portsmouth yesterday morning to do some shopping and then took a walk around the naval dockyard. It was a lovely day and on the way home we stopped off at a park which runs along the coast the other side of Southampton. We had only just got out of the car when this appeared! Needless to say we beat a hasty retreat back to the car
Liverpool area. Early morning shot as the sun was trying to come through the clouds. The clouds won. Rainy day !
