Storm Over Nevada. I couldn't wait to get back into my car as I captured this image. There was an eerie smell in the air and an ominous feeling about.

A close up of another drawing for TOTAL ANIMAL, my solo art show at RARE DEVICE in the beautiful city of San Francisco, CA.

When I had a peep through the window I saw these very dark clouds, but a little blue of sky trying to appear too. I clicked it!

Quando eu espiei pela janela vi essas nuvens bem escuras, mas também vi um pouco do azul do céu tentando aparecer. Tirei a foto!

I took a step into medieval England last week exploring the ruined Muchelney Abbey in Somerset.

One place on the Somerset Levels that survived the horrific floods of recent years, becoming a part-time island. The monastery was built in the tenth century and became a wealthy Benedictine house. It was destroyed in 1538 during Henry VIII's Dissolution of the Monasteries. Luckily the Abbots house and main church survived. English Heritage look after the place now and I took full advantage of their free samples of Mead and Nettle Wine available at the abbey!

Black clouds overlooked my visit and there was a haunting feel to the place in its large empty rooms and the odd empty grave hole outside.. It definitely suited a black and white set of images.

Between the greyed concrete of Hepworth Gallery and the old red brick mill building is a blackened wood pavilion/shelter called the Black Cloud. It has a splendid floor made from wood blocks.

// I had a dream where I was walking in the darkness of a winter afternoon, the rain and the wind making my every step heavier, and crossed emergency stairwells of tall buildings. I was looking for a room, an office, a person. The directions were spot on, but I could never get. And I met people busy but peaceful, that helped me to find my destination. Yet I still did not arrive. And so, after a long wandering, I began to feel myself light, peaceful, aware that, although I never arrived, my real goal was to go. Then I woke up, and it was Sunday. // #poetography #poetry #poesia #sunday #domenica #ihadadream #dream #sogno #dreaming #sognare #landscape #landscapes #paesaggi #paesaggio #naturephotography #nature #natura #greenlawn #lawn #prato #clouds #cloudy #cloudlover #cloudlovers #nuvole #nuvolenere #blackclouds #windy #snapseed #latergram

The clouds are most closely related to undulatus clouds.[2] Although they appear dark and storm-like, they tend to dissipate without a storm forming.[6] The ominous-looking clouds have been particularly common in the Plains states of the United States, often during the morning or midday hours following convective thunderstorm activity

I thought initially this was the same as #1, but much larger. On closer inspection however, it is actually different.
