A bit of a different photo, about a couple days after Key Coaches official withdrawal from service.

Most of the fleet are in this photo, however I cant remember what the fleet numbers behind were.

MX08DGY (S1) was new to Clarkes of Tenterden in 2008, and now has life at Johnstone Community Transport.

MX58KZB (S9) was new to First Cymru as 53708 and again, is now with Johnstone Community Transport.

I'm not entirely sure what happened to the rest of the fleet, aside from S8 (MX07JNJ) which from when I last seen it in August 2024, is with Prentice Westwood.

All buses as of 2025 have been vacated from the lot.

McLaughlin Eastshore Park, Berkeley.

From this ball of bits and these unclear instructions, I was able to piece together tiny delights of the robot persuasion. I was trying to get the mopeds featured on the sign, but ended up with four yellow/red boys and three blue/white girls.

Seeing bits of boiled beef, goat that are sliced up to top off a bowl of noodles, I stumbled on what I thought was an offal stew of beef or goat. I thought the bits of tripe looked familiar enough, and the brownish skin looked like what you'd find in a Chinese-style goat hotpot stew.

Asking the man behind the pot if it was "thit de" (goat in Vietnamese) was met with much uninteligible chatter and hand-waving, beckoning me to sit down for a bowl. I put it down to the fact that he was Hmong and perhaps didn't speak much Vietnamese. I managed to get the price, and VND30000 / AUD2 / USD1.50 seemed reasonable.

Chowing down on the intestines and tripe, I was quite happy with the flavours even though it was a simple dish. The minerally taste of the offal was mild and everything tasted fresh. Seeing me enjoy it, Julia decided to taste a bit of the meat. As soon as she did, that was what gave it away.

I had a taste, and sure enough, it wasn't goat. It had a sweet flavour probably closest to wild boar, but stronger gameyness.

When one of the waitresses walked past, I asked again if it was "thit de". She responded with "thit cho". yep. dog.

I think I tried to have a little bit more, but we had to leave half the bowl untouched.

Suffice to say, lunch and dinner was vegetables and rice! :P

here is a bit of explanation behind that picture; the world has change! so many different way to represent that and I guess I took my personal experience into consideration for that assignment. Once upper the time, the incandescent bulb was our main source of lighting ... and even heating! we used it everywhere; today, our government (Europe, USA or Canada) Banned them; they are basically taking out of the retail store to be replace by CFL (beurk) or LEDs. This is probably my Lighting design profession that orient my brain and make a light bulb bleeding.

In the past, we use to take film photography.... and them the digital came out ... and a bunch of hipster people went back to vintage technology as polaroid or much ore photo analog Photo Booth!. Some hipster geek also develop app that slog digital photo takers to look vintage through filter!

the Third element of my picture is the newspaper. Well 10 years ago when internet became popular everybody announced the end of the newspaper; well today ironically, there is more and more newspaper and the top it of all, they are free!

anyway what I try to show in my shot was that even if the world has change, it is not always for something better, newer and a more advance technology! The world is also looking back in the past!

A trip by train to Huddersfield to meet up with relatives and have lunch a couple of pints in The Head Of Steam..... ( superb beer and food and thoroughly recommended ).

Thank Goodness for Realtime Trains...... So even though it was heaving down, dark and cold and down right miserable I managed to get a few shots of the two Freightliner operated empty GMC binliners on their way from Roxby ( Scunthorpe ) to Manchester. 66602 came first and 25 minutes later ex DRS ( still in DRS livery ) 66419 followed.

The beer and the food were superb

Doctor Octoroc creates music using sounds produced by vintage computing and video game hardware. For his holiday album "8-Bit Jesus" he composed 18 popular Christmas carols using samples from well-known video game themes from the 1980s.

The artist wanted the packaging to communicate that this was a holiday album, yet appeal to his target audience by illustrating the Christmas story through the context and language of 8-bit video game graphics and typography. In addition to the packaging, logos were created for each song that parody the video game the track title makes reference to. Due to space limitations, these were not used for the back cover track listing. However, they were embedded as a typographic texture on the interior spread, adding another layer of nostalgia for the most dedicated fans to identify.

This was another find in a local store. The box was quite beat up but the pieces inside were still sealed. I haven't done a Bits and Pieces puzzle since the late 1990s, should be fun.

Part of a series of photos of my son Ben

So I have a bit of a confession that I am going to share today and to be totally honest I am sort of nervous about it. I have sort of had a secret or a double life for some time, not so much a double life, but something I kept hidden.

For about 5 years I have been doing Model/ Fashion/ portrait/ fine art photography and really didn't tell anybody in my life. I have over the years photographed somewhere around 100 models either at group photo shoots, or meeting one on one to shoot. every one of the pictures in this picture is mine including the two books, the one I ma holding, and the one on the floor. This picture doesn't even give a full picture of what I have taken.

I have kept this secret for many reasons. First I was afraid, at the time that my now ex wife would have been jealous or would have told me I could not do it. I was afraid that my photos would not be accepted by my family, some of the pictures are risque and that might not have gone over well. I was afraid people would have some sort of expectation that I would start doing this for money and as a job and I just wanted to do this because I liked it. Mainly I was afraid to tell everybody because at first I thought I would fail at this and didn't want anybody to see me fail. Once I realized I was pretty good I didn't want to tell people because I had been hiding it for a while. Most of these reasons are irrational but I am still nervous about posting this picture in fear of what people might say.

I am posting this today because I am tired, I am tired of hiding it and it has been a burden on my conscious for some time. The other reason is I would like to do this again. I have taken some time off from this and I would like to get back into this kind of photography in this new year. This time I don't want to hide it, I don't want to be ashamed of my work and I don't want to be afraid of what people will say about what I am doing. I have been told I am pretty good at taking pictures, and I love to do it, and I don't want to hide it anymore.
