a closeup of the chimpanzee butt bite. This was bunny taking a chomp out of one of the other young females.

green iguana and it's owner (lower right)

a month later this "nice guy" jumped up and bit the owners left breast (really hard)

Iguanas of this size can take peoples fingers off and then they're hopped up on hormones... nobody they target are safe.

The mosquitos have been thriving with all the flooding and standing water on Kauai. Also, they have been eating their Wheaties.

Though obviously the Tongue-Biter Parasite will be considered a most unpleasant creature for most people, scientifically it is a remarkable adaptation. This is an ocean dwelling species of louse, found in most warm oceans. As it name implies, it enters the mouth of a fish, and bites the tongue. The louse attaches itself to the muscles at the base of the tongue, and cuts off the supply of blood to the organ. In time, the organ atrophies and falls away. At this time the louse actually becomes the tongue of the fish! This is the only known instance of a parasite actually physically replacing an organ in its host! Only the female does this, however. The males attach themselves to the gills, directly behind the female.

Tongue-Biter Parasite Mystery

The parasite does not appear to cause any other damage to the host. Once the tongue has been replaced, the parasite feeds directly upon the blood and mucus of the host fish. Aside from this information, little is known about their lifecycle. For reasons not yet known, they appear to be selective of the species of fish the parasitize. To date, they have only been found in eight species of fish. The creatures pose no threat to humans, unless they are handled directly. In that instance, they are capable of inflicting a painful bite. #ourbreathingplanet

Just like on the Discovery Channel. I love how papa lion looks me in the eye as he growls with mama's neck in his mouth and makes babies.

I hope everyone had a fun Halloween!

i don't know. things are getting a bit confused this end.

I took a bite out of it to see what it tasted like. It ended up being not sweet enough and the coffee layer was a little too firm. Also, I didn't use enough whipped cream so it just made a really weird thin layer on top of the coffee layer.

I threw the remainder of the piece away because it was pretty strong and I had to go to work =X

So what's the first thing I do after sucking out the poison? Grab a camera and take a picture, of course. I know they tell you not to that these days (suck out the poison), but we were in an emergency situation with the storm. I knew I have no cavities and the poison needed to come out.
