When the "Beast from the east" started its battering of the UK I decided to take a pre work walk up to the top of Bradgate park in the hope of snow and dawn colour and thankfully I got both. The precambrian rocks that are a great feature up there reminded me of a set of jagged teeth so I thought I would use them to represent a bite

In the name of accountability, I feel I ought to reveal what I ate yesterday. Ready?
2 slices of cold pizza (chicken, mushrooms, olives and garlic butter) at the top of Tom Heights (recce)
Part of a Gregg's Cheese and Onion Bake (binned, vile)
1 packet of Doritos Cool Original
1 Peanut Chunky Kitkat
That saw me through to about 12 when I'd finished photographing Mary's Shell. Hmm, I can't really turn up to my sister's hungry...
1 quarterpounder with cheese
3 mozzarella bites

Then managed to make it all the way through to 5pm:
3 slices of garlic bread (goats cheese and caramelised onion 😍)
Chicken with a Diane sauce (the 80s called and want their sauce back)
Chocolate icecream rolled in meringue and hazelnuts.

Jane decided to help me to work on a lens by inspecting and then stealing my screwdrivers.

This little guy has been using the birdbath to gain access to the little swing feeder.
First, he comes to the window and looks in to see if anyone is watching. He sneaks around a bit then he hops on over to the birdbath and jumps to the feeder.
He doesn't stay long, he just grabs a few quick bites and off he goes to get into some sort of mischief.

I used sunflower seeds instead of walnuts and chopped raisins and a sprinkle of icing sugar for decoration.

2779 has officially been retired. The final blow was a bad block heater causing several cracks. Spent so many sunrises with this old warrior, sad to never see it again.
