Did you know that the most common spider bite in the United States is caused by this little sucker?
I always figured they had to be pretty pacifistic; they duck and dart out of my way any time I get near them.
But, no, apparently they're little monsters. Those bitten (commenting on Flickr and Facebook in reference to my last photo) suggest that it actually hurts like a sumbitch, and actually might have a necrotizing effect. Well, that's awful. Remind me not to go shoving my camera up into their faces again. (Except I probably will. Shhh.)
Anyway. Bitey or no, these guys are almost adorable.
...
Almost.
If you've ever been intimidated by a massive Cinnabon or its price, the six-pack of Cinnabon Bites is for you! Got these on I-95 on the way to Richmond this weekend. I had to stop at the tourist info desk for a suggested route around the DC traffic snarls I was hearing about. It wasn't for the Cinnabon. Honest!
